About Cornerstone Baptist Church

Cornerstone Baptist Church is a dynamic church located in Georgetown, SC. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is very simple...we strive to love Jesus Christ, love other people and transform our world. This means our church is not about a building, complicated religious systems, or keeping ourselves busy with a myriad of church programs. Our desire is to help people from all backgrounds, generations, and cultures discover the joy that comes from knowing, following and serving Jesus Christ.

Faith

While faith has been defined as believing in things unseen, we firmly believe the love of our 'invisible' God is supposed to be seen through the faith expressions of His followers. Our faith is evidenced in our pursuit of God, our love for other people and our efforts to transform our world with His love flowing through us.

Family

At Cornerstone Baptist Church we value the family and we believe church should be a place for people of all ages. Our exciting children's ministry, C-Kids, meets during our Worship Service to provide age-appropriate worship, crafts, and bible lessons. C-Kids also offers our children opportunities to participate in events and special activities designed to develop their love of God, their love for others and their desire to transform our world. Our C-Groups meet in small groups all over Georgetown County, where we develop close relationships with one another, improve our relationship with God and serve with local ministry partners (Martha's House, Teen Challenge, Helping Hands) to meet the needs in our community.

Leadership

Cornerstone Baptist Church is guided by a leadership team, comprised of our pastor, who provides the overall direction for our church and our deacons, who help the pastor, serving the spiritual and practical needs of our church family. Cornerstone Baptist Church is fortunate to have a leadership team who are dedicated to Christ and committed to accomplishing our God given vision as a church.
